WHAT IS FORMACON

SYNTHESIS

FORMACON is synthesis by carbonyl addition to yield sulfonium ion and then followed by various process of addition and distillation with strong catalysts that drives nucleophile attack on complex structure of premature FORMACON molecule. Final yield is hydrolyzed and purified to obtain pure FORMACON for Industrial uses.

FORMACON acid is a very versatile Dye fixing and pH maintaining agent. FORMACON was synthesized in Maxon Laboratory to eliminate use of expensive Organic acids that not only contribute greatly on organic contaminations in waste water but also are not much efficient in performance.

FORMACON can be used in contrast to Formic acid, Oxalic acid, Acetic acid and other organic acids. Formacon having interlinked sulfono groups is a result of advance chemical research and it shows remarkable properties in various color and tanning related products.

Formacon can reduce pH maintaining time and it is better in penetrating collagen of leather. Products treated collagen of leather. Products treated with FORMACON tend to have higher tensile strength and better color fastness.

Usage:

For leather Industry, FORMACON can be used as pickling agent, pH maintaining agent (after liming) and Dye fixing agent. As acidic dyes have better color strength, FARMACON enhances its penetration by offering greater color absorption to collagen. For all these processes, FORMACON quantity should be controlled using pH of final Liquor. FORMACON is often used in high dilution ratio; however dilution rates greatly depend on usage nature.

For Rubber Industry, FARMACON performs process of Latex coagulation. Quantity and dilution rate should be calculated by observing resultant parameters before use.

For Textile use, dye liquor can be prepared using FARMACON in moderate dilution and the mixture can be heated up to some extent. This product have minor tendency to dissolve Nylon66 hence should be used accordingly.

Feeding:

FARMACON is a corrosive material and should be feed using plastic container or magnetic pumps. Care should be taken when using this product.

Handling: This product should be handling with great care. Do not take internally. Avoid eye and skin contact. If contact occur immediately flush area with large amounts of water. Strict adherence to the safety procedure prescribed, especially those in the Material safety data sheet, is necessary in order to handle and use this product safety.
